Back in Bogota
[Michael] Two things: The girl who was Kelly Johanna Sapuy Ramirez is now officially Kelly Johanna Thelander, and we are back in Bogota. It's cold here! I am going to go chase down the kids and dinner while Joie sends a quick update. I'll post pictures later tonight.
[Joie] Hola! It is good to be back in Bogota, it's definitely a home-away-from-home! We now occupy the hotel with several other families, the one family from NY with 3 siblings, new arrivals are a family from Paris, a family from Minneapolis and another family from NY ~ all with babies!
Kelly has left all she has ever known. It is hard because she doesn't know how to tell us what she is feeling......I can't imagine what she is feeling because I have always been surrounded by family and friends, I have never had to leave anything behind. Her smile is beautiful and her laughter and giggles are infectious but when she seems to withdraw, I can't help but feel an ache.
We have another week here before we depart for HOME. We now have regular internet access and look forward to hearing from you!
